Who We Are
Lakeshore was founded by Eric Wagner and Zack Olson in 2024. The founders combine brokerage, investment, ownership, and property-level operating experience.
Eric leads capital relationships and investment oversight. Zack leads acquisition sourcing and day-to-day operational execution. They work alongside Lakeshore Management LLC's regional, property-management, leasing, and maintenance teams.
The Founders
Eric Wagner
Co-Founder and Managing Partner
Eric Wagner co-founded Lakeshore Capital Partners in 2024. He leads capital raising, investment strategy, asset-management oversight, and investor reporting.
Eric worked at Marcus & Millichap from 2018 through 2024 and ultimately served as Senior Director Investments. During that period, he personally closed more than $600 million in investment sales across multifamily, industrial, and mixed-use properties.
Eric's operating experience began alongside his brokerage career. He worked weekend leasing shifts at Katz Properties in Milwaukee, assisting with apartment showings, applicant follow-up, lease execution, and resident communication at a 598-unit community. He later independently acquired and operated six apartment buildings totaling 55 units in Illinois, with responsibility for financing, leasing, renovations, property operations, and disposition or refinancing decisions.
Eric has also invested in larger multifamily and senior-housing transactions in roles that varied by investment. Those transactions and his specific capacity in each are described on the Track Record page. He earned his B.A. from Marquette University and holds an active Illinois real estate license.

Zack Olson
Co-Founder and Managing Partner
Zack Olson co-founded Lakeshore Capital Partners in 2024. He leads acquisition sourcing, deal analysis, due diligence, and day-to-day operational oversight.
Zack worked at Marcus & Millichap from 2020 through 2024 and ultimately served as Senior Investment Advisor. During that period, he evaluated more than $300 million in multifamily opportunities and was personally credited with approximately $40 million in closed transactions.
At Lakeshore, Zack applies that experience to property valuation, underwriting, acquisition coordination, budgeting, renovation planning, leasing performance, and execution of property business plans.
